Claudia Sheinbaum's Rally at Zócalo Supports Her Leadership

President Claudia Sheinbaum presided over a meeting where the principles and programs of the Fourth Transformation were reviewed, clarifying that the issue of tariffs was clear at least until April 2. She thanked the business leaders who have supported the government and emphasized the importance of dialogue with the United States to avoid potential tariffs.

In the meeting, the focus was mainly directed towards the bases of Morena, even with the presence of opposition governors. Sheinbaum's firm stance on the country's sovereignty was highlighted as a non-negotiable point in the face of trade pressures.

Regarding the attitude of the legislators present, some seemed more interested in getting a photo with their party leaders than paying attention to the President. However, they later expressed respect and loyalty towards Sheinbaum, recognizing the importance of her leadership.

More than 350,000 people gathered in the Zócalo in support of President Claudia Sheinbaum, who displayed confidence and security during the event. Accompanied by her close circle and the head of Government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada, Sheinbaum conveyed leadership and determination in the face of a complex international scenario.

On the other hand, the Citizen Security Commission of the Chamber of Deputies decided not to call Secretary Omar García Harfuch to discuss reforms to security-related laws, postponing the discussion until next week.

Finally, despite certain incidents where legislators focused their attention on taking pictures with party leaders without noticing the presence of the President, the rally in the Zócalo was a massive backing of Sheinbaum's project, evidencing popular support and the continuity of the proposed course.
